Spermatorrhoea
Spermatorrhoea is an involuntary discharge of semen without an erection or an orgasm (without any sexual activity). If spermatorrhoea happens at night due to an erotic dream, the person is said to have wet dreams. In spermatorrhoea, the discharge contains sperms which makes it different from other emissions. Sperms are those elements of the semen, which are responsible for fertilization of the egg in females, leading to pregnancy.
Spermatorrhoea is a disorder in which men experience unprompted (involuntary) ejaculation i.e, discharge of semen without any sexual activity.
Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrheoae. Gonorrhea affects both men and women and can infect the cervix, urethra, rectum, anus and throat. Gonorrhea is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and the global gonorrhea statistics show that an estimated 62 million cases of gonorrhea occur each year, affecting more women than men.
Gonorrhea is easily curable but if left untreated it can cause serious health problems.
Genital Warts
Genital warts, caused by some types of HPV (human papilloma virus), can appear on the skin anywhere in the genital area as white or flesh-coloured, smooth, small bumps, or larger, fleshy, cauliflower-like lumps.
Other HPV subtypes cause warts to grow on different parts of the body, such as the hands. Not everyone infected with HPV will develop genital warts.
Dysuria or Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
Dysuria is the feeling of pain, burning or discomfort upon urination. Although dysuria frequently indicates the presence of a urinary tract infection (UTI), it can have a variety of causes. Symptoms occur more commonly in women, especially in young women and people who are sexually active.
Most of the time, dysuria will be caused by a simple urinary tract infection, but a complete evaluation by a health-care professional is necessary for proper diagnosis, especially if the symptoms reoccur.
Enlarged Prostate
An enlarged prostate, medically known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is a common condition as men age. Here’s a detailed description:
What It Is?
The prostate is a small gland located below the bladder that plays a role in producing seminal fluid. In BPH, the prostate tissue increases in size, which can compress the urethra and lead to urinary issues.
Leucorrhoea or Vaginal Discharge
Leucorrhoea is a medical term that used to describe the discharge of whitish substance, from female genitals. The disease might continue for weeks or months. However, one needs to treat it properly in the initial stages only, lest it becomes chronic.
Thick, viscid and foul smelling, the discharge is mainly experienced during puberty, when the sexual organs of a female are developing. This white discharge is generally caused by the presence of infection in any of the vaginal tissues.
Delayed Ejaculation or Impaired Ejaculation
Delayed Ejaculation sometimes called impaired ejaculation is a condition in which it takes an extended period of sexual stimulation for a man to reach sexual climax and release semen from the penis (ejaculate). Some men with delayed ejaculation are unable to ejaculate at all.
Retrograde Ejaculation or Dry Orgasm
In males, urine and ejaculate both pass through the urethra. There’s a muscle, or sphincter, near the neck of the bladder that helps to hold urine in until you’re ready to urinate.
During orgasm, that same muscle Contracts to keep ejaculate from entering the bladder. That allows it to flow through the urethra and out the tip of your penis.
In retrograde ejaculation, this muscle fails to contract. Because it stays relaxed, the ejaculate ends up in your bladder. The result is what’s called a dry orgasm. Despite the lack of ejaculate, it feels like a normal orgasm and doesn’t usually affect sexual pleasure.
Low Sperm Count and Motility
Low sperm count (oligospermia) refers to a condition where the semen contains fewer sperm than normal. A healthy sperm count is typically 15 million sperm per milliliter or higher. When the count falls below this level, it may reduce the chances of fertilizing an egg.
Low sperm motility refers to poor sperm movement, making it difficult for sperm to swim effectively toward the egg. Healthy sperm motility requires at least 40% of the sperm to be actively moving.
Chlamydia
Chlamydia is caused by the bacterium chlamydia trachomatis. This bacteria can infect the cervix in women and the urethra and rectum in both men and women.
Occasionally chlamydia can also affect other parts of the body, including the throat and eyes. Chlamydia often has no symptoms, especially among women. If left untreated, chlamydia can cause serious problems later in life.
Asthma
Asthma is a lung disease caused by inflammation (swelling) that leads to wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.
Many people with asthma also have a family history of allergies, such as hay fever or pet allergies. It’s a common ailment and complaint.
Although asthma cannot be cured, it can be controlled with medications and patients can live an active and normal life style.
Dyspepsia or Indigestion
Uncomfortable sensation in your belly during or after a meal. You might have burning or pain in the upper part of your stomach, too. It is indigestion, also called dyspepsia.
Indigestion is often a sign of an underlying problem, such as gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD), ulcers, or gallbladder disease, rather than a condition of its own. Any treatment you get will depend on what the cause is. But there are ways you can feel better or avoid getting it.
Pimples / Acne
Acne is a skin disease caused by changes in the pilo sebaceous units(the unit consists of the hair shaft, the hair follicle, the sebaceous gland which makes sebum, and the erector pili muscle which causes hair to stand up when it contracts) of a person. It usually strikes during adolescence but rarely continues till adulthood.
Irregular Periods
Having irregular periods can mean a variation in the number of days you have your period or that your period arrives early, late or even skips a few months. A menstrual cycle is counted from the first day of a period to the first day of the next. The average menstrual cycle is 28 days, but this can vary from woman to woman, and month to month.
Actually, most women will experience irregular bleeding at some point in their life. A period showing up unexpected or delayed does not always mean something serious is going on. But your period showing up whenever it wants can be stressful.
